Member care at Avant aims to address all aspects of the well-being of missionaries and their children. It includes spiritual, emotional, relational, physical, and economic matters. It seeks to empower missionaries and promote thriving and resilience while also addressing crises and celebrating accomplishments as they may arise.
Regional Member Care providers within Avant are responsible for coordinating the services related to the well-being of Avant missionaries and their children, in the region they are assigned to, in order to enhance effectiveness in ministry and promote longevity. 

Regions include:

• Western Europe
• Eastern Europe
• The Middle East and Africa
• Asia
• Latin American

Requirements:

• Cross cultural experience (strongly preferred)
• Must be able to address issues related to men, women, singles,  and family
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent as minimum in Bible/Pastoral or Human Services/Counseling/Psychology/Social Work, etc. 
• Prefer a Masters in Counseling/Spiritual Direction/Pastoral Care or related field
• Willingness to learn a new language in order to function in host community
