Why did Avant create Joint Venture? Print E-mail

At Avant Ministries we are fueled by a passion to share God with the unreached. We are driven to see God transform people's lives through churches planted by our missionaries.

Time is running out. We believe every day that passes brings us one day closer to the return of Jesus. This creates urgency to plant churches. Because of this belief, we are breaking the traditional boundaries of missions by employing innovative means of international ministry.

Our desire to see more churches planted in the unreached areas of the world challenged us to develop the Short-Cycle Church Planting principles. Short-Cycle is a ministry philosophy that enables a team of missionaries to dramatically shorten the length of time it takes to plant a mature, nationally-led, reproducing church.

We can't do it on our own. Because the local church is the body of Christ and an instrument of the Great Commission, we are making our relationship with the local church a priority. Joint Venture was created as an opportunity for church and agency to combine their strengths and send Short-Cycle Church Planting teams to unreached areas together.

The way this happens depends on the relationship formed between your church and Avant. Every situation will be different because every church is unique. Yet the end result is always the same: missionaries go out, the gospel is preached and churches are planted. An unreached area is reached.
