Ministry Description
General
maintenance at Avant's office, guest house, apartment complex in
Quito, and/or
at Avant's ministry station in the Amazon Jungle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Painting
- Time spent on each area will depend on areas of specialty
of the applicant.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in areas of general
maintenance
Language
Spanish useful
but not necessary
Experience and Training Needed
Avant requires education or
training appropriate for the specific ministry in which the candidate
will be engaged. For those serving longer than six months, completion
of the Avant Candidate Orientation Program is also required. It is
expected that applicants will have demonstrated their abilities in
Christian service prior to application. A good working knowledge of
the Bible is required for all personnel.
