Ministry Description
Be part of a church planting team.  Use the gifts that God has given you to establish “three-self” churches (self-propagating, self-governing, self-supporting) in the cities that the Avant Missionaries and the national church have targeted.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reach people for Christ and train them to serve Him.
• Discipleship and leadership training.
• Each one on the team is responsible to train others to use the gifts that God has given them.  (i.e. If your gift is counseling you would train others to counsel)

• Desire to be part of a ministry team and the determination to fit in.

Language
Working knowledge and ability to communicate in Spanish.

Experience and Training Needed
Avant requires education or training appropriate for the specific ministry in which the candidate will be engaged.  For those serving longer than six months, completion of the Avant Candidate Orientation Program is also required.  It is expected that applicants will have demonstrated their abilities in Christian service prior to application.  A good working knowledge of the Bible is required for all personnel.
