Ministry Description
Teach at Maranatha Bible College and Institute (SIBIMA) to prepare national pastors and Christian workers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach 4 to 12 credit hours per week.
- Extra-curricular activities with students
- Possible work in administration
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum required education is a Bachelor’s degree in the area that you would be teaching. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Language
Must be able to speak Portuguese fluently. If the person comes to the field without Portuguese must study Portuguese at least one year and then have two years in church related ministries (where he would be required to used Portuguese) before teaching.
Experience and Training Needed
Avant requires education or training appropriate for the specific ministry in which the candidate will be engaged. For those serving longer than six months, completion of the Avant Candidate Orientation Program is also required. It is expected that applicants will have demonstrated their abilities in Christian service prior to application. A good working knowledge of the Bible is required for all personnel.
