Ministry Description
Primary focus of meeting the needs of camp guests and making them feel welcome.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing all guest housing for new arrivals.
• Looking for ways to upgrade current housing.
• Work with Team Leader to assess and implement all housing accommodations/guidelines for camp staff.
• Transportation and accommodations for all people/groups from point of arrival to point of departure.
• Serve as a tour guide of the local area for camp guests.

• Must be willing to forego personal interests to make a good first impression.
• Must be good working in a high demand position that varies in time and venue.
• Flexibility and good attitude are key.

Experience and Training Needed
Avant requires education or training appropriate for the specific ministry in which the candidate will be engaged.  For those serving longer than six months, completion of the Avant Candidate Orientation Program is also required.  It is expected that applicants will have demonstrated their abilities in Christian service prior to application.  A good working knowledge of the Bible is required for all personnel.
