May 29 to August 17 (Missionary Associate)

Ministry Description
Working with young people from Southeast Alaska, in a camp environment with the opportunity to share the gospel with them.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leadership in ministering to approximately 11 young people weekly
• Sharing the gospel and leading cabin devotions
• Investing into the lives of young people 7-18 years old
• Ability to lead and or train in some of the following areas: canoeing, sports, archery, bb-guns and other camp activities

• Must be at least one year out of high school.
• Must be willing to work in demanding situations

Experience and Training Needed
Avant requires education or training appropriate for the specific ministry in which the candidate will be engaged.  It is expected that applicants will have demonstrated their abilities in Christian service prior to application.  A good working knowledge of the Bible is required for all personnel.
