KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Avant Ministries commissioned 14 new missionaries on Friday, July 20.  The commissioning service was the final component of Avant's Candidate Orientation Program (COP), July 9-20, which was held at Avant's Training Center. Each of the 14 candidates attended a schedule of sessions ranging from raising support to personality assessments.  The two week program also allowed time for candidates to become acquainted with one another and the agency.

Candidates in attendance were from Canada and the United States, and the group was comprised of three families and eight singles. The new missionaries were assigned to church planting teams in Central Asia, France or Italy, and some are going to the Malaga Media Center in Malaga, Spain.
