Avant President meets supporters of Echo Ranch PDF Print E-mail
JUNEAU, Alaska – Echo Ranch staff and Paul Nyquist, president of Avant Ministries, met with 20 friends and supporters of Avant in July.  The event was called “Coffee with Paul.” Held at the Juneau Airport Travelodge, it was an informal opportunity for Nyquist to answer questions about the ministries of Avant.

Dean Callison, vice president of development, said he felt the time was beneficial for all in attendance. “It was encouraging to see people respond favorably to the message of Avant and Echo Ranch,” he said. “It was an opportunity for people to express the ways Echo Ranch has influenced their lives.”

The “Coffee with Paul” event was one component of a visit Nyquist made during the month of July to Alaska and Echo Ranch. While at the camp, Nyquist experienced the ministry of Echo Ranch and hosted a group of partners.

Scott Harris, vice president of field ministries, was at Echo Ranch in July for his annual visit.  He said the trip affirmed the significance of the ministries of the camp.  “There is story after story of lives changed by the gospel this summer at Echo Ranch,” he said.  “It is a powerful example of God using ordinary people who have extraordinary passion to serve Him and change lives.”
