Applicants should be well prepared for the specific ministries in which they will be engaged. Ordinarily the minimum requirement for career ministry is a four-year Bible college undergraduate degree or an acceptable equivalent. A one-year (thirty credit-hour) concentrated Bible course will normally meet the minimum requirements of Bible training for a college or university graduate. A short-term, associate or summer worker may be accepted for a given ministry without a basic degree or formal Bible training if other requirements are adequately met. However, a good working knowledge of the Bible is required for all personnel.
