How To Join

• Step 1: Explore— Check out Opportunities to serve around the world.
• Step 2: Discover— Visit the Am I Ready? page to see what we look for in our missionaries. 
• Step 3: Connect— Tell us about yourself and your ministry interests by filling out a Profile online. Then we'll contact you and guide you through the rest of the steps.
• Step 4:  Talk to a Recruiting Specialist—  A recruiting specialist will answer any questions you may have and help you navigate your future with Avant. Contact a Recruiting Specialist .
• Step 5:  Complete a Full Application— Fill out a full application. This application will be reviewed by our executive team and field ministries personnel. Get a full application
• Step 6:  Attend Candidate Orientation Program (COP)— Once your application is approved, you'll be invited to attend COP at our International Service Center in Kansas City. Upon successful completion of COP, you will be eligible for appointment to missionary service. Learn More about COP
