David Rathbun
Vice President of Personnel Development 

A Senior Professional in Human Resources, David Rathbun joined Avant Ministries in 2002. As the Vice President of Personnel Development, he is responsible for mission care, human resource management and leadership development and training. Prior to joining Avant, David served as vice president of human resources for a multi-industry Fortune 500 company. David also has experience as a youth minister, Bible college counselor and instructor, university extension area program coordinator and an organization and leadership development consultant and trainer. He has lived in Saudi Arabia and ministered in various cultural settings. David and his wife, Carla, have two grown children and seven grandchildren.
