Vanessa of Team France Paris South: Relying on God to provide needed support is part of the plan.

Avant Ministries' effort to plant churches in France took an exciting step forward this summer as two families from Team France Paris South have landed in Paris to embark on their five-year term.  Sheldon and Laurie R. and their four children landed in Paris on June 21 and were recently joined by Jim and Debbie S., along with their four children on July 23.

Their arrival is the culmination of much hard work and preparation, and both families are excited to begin ministering in Paris. Each has moved into permanent housing and will start language school in September.

The remaining members of the team are waiting expectantly to depart from the U.S. and join the effort.  Allison F., Katie S., Vanessa V. and Jeremy W. are currently raising funds and trusting they will leave for Paris in the fall.  "We are hoping and expecting for God to provide so that we can join them soon," said Vanessa.  "I'm looking forward to connecting with the French people."
