Ministry Description
In today’s tenuous social and political climate, church-planting requires creative teamwork with a fervent sense of urgency – much like the Apostle Paul exhibited. Whereas most church-planting models rely on years of deliberate acclimation and missionary-dependent leadership, Short-Cycle is an innovative Pauline approach that aims to rapidly develop mature, reproducing churches led by nationals.

Duties and Responsibilities
This Short-Cycle Church Planting effort will focus on ministry in evangelism, discipleship and church development. The teams will develop methods fitting for local conditions, gather ideas from wide-ranging sources, and continually adapt as they learn from experience.

Skills and Qualifications
This dynamic approach demands a team with a wide range of skills. We are seeking creative, team-oriented individuals to be a part of this Short-Cycle Church Planting effort. Experience and training in the following would be desirable on various teams:

• Evangelism and discipleship
• Church and leader development
• TEFL
  
• MK education
• Business and project management
• Counseling

Language
Previous language training is beneficial.  Language training will be determined on a team-by-team basis, most often learned in country.
