Ministry Description
Working in partnership with the local national church, establish and develop churches

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work alongside Avant missionaries and the local national church evangelizing and church planting

• Willingness to work in partnership with European leadership.
• Ability to adapt to European culture and lifestyle.
• Must be spiritually balanced and mature.
• Able to relate to others and show patience and love.
• This missionary must have a grasp of principles of missions and church planting and growth.
• Experience in evangelism and church planting would be helpful.
• Pastoral experience would be very valuable.
• Should have some experience in personal work, door-to-door evangelism and Bible studies for adults and youth.

Language
French & Flemish/Dutch is essential to daily ministry.

Experience and Training Needed
Avant requires education or training appropriate for the specific ministry in which the candidate will be engaged.  For those serving longer than six months, completion of the Avant Candidate Orientation Program is also required.  It is expected that applicants will have demonstrated their abilities in Christian service prior to application.  A good working knowledge of the Bible is required for all personnel.
