Church-Based Teams

Joint Venture was created to mobilize members of a given church to serve together overseas.

Building teams is similar to using building blocks to build a tower. We’ve been putting together mission teams for some time, and we recognize the unique value of church-based teams. The sending church is the strong foundation for prayer, biblical training and support. The team members collaborate well because of several common factors: values, beliefs and similar ministry experience. These denominators contribute to the team’s strength as they start doing ministry together on the field.

Through Joint Venture you can send an entire team from your church to the missionary field. The program mobilizes people within your congregation; they have the same values, beliefs, network and have served together in the same church. They are shared by one congregation that advocates for their ministry, prays for them, serves with them, and sends them. Joint Venture can integrate the missions program at your church or it can be the catalyst for your missions program. Joint Venture incorporates the different mission activities at your church from Short-Term trips, apprentice trips to culminate in sending additional teams to unreached people groups of the world. With the right people and a vision, any church can build a church-based team.

If you would like to send a team of missionaries from your church, if you would like to serve on a church based team, if you would like to empower your congregation to reach the world—Joint Venture is right for you. If you have a passion to see lives changed, to share the gospel with the unreached, if you would like to join a cause greater than your imagination—Joint Venture is right for you.
